the cycle revolution instructor's certification course
Attending this course is an opportunity to transform yourself and your cycling abilities both as a student, aspiring cycle instructor, or to deepen your skills if you are already teaching.
This Course will focus on:
Theory: correct bike set up, accurate positioning, how to measure your heart-rate and use its benefits in your class, working with your breath, the anatomy of a cyclist, and cueing.
Practical: language, music, imagery, the benefits, stretching, and how to market yourself as a cycling teacher.
This course will be led by master indoor cycling enthusiast, Casey Soer along with Tracey Sohgrati for anatomy, and Jonathan Farber for in depth heart rate information and music programming.
Course completion requires a practical and written exam in order to receive your full certification as an indoor cycling teacher. Each student is required to take a minimum of three cycling and/or spynga classes per week (at any cycling studio) during the duration of the course, as well as spend a minimum of 3 hours planning for their practical exam, and a suggested amount of 5 hours to prepare for their written exam. All of these hours must be documented by the student and presented at the end of the course.

Dates: Thursday October 14 @ 7-9p, Saturday October 23rd @ 1-3p & Thursday October 28 @ 7-9p at spynga north!
