Discover the beauty of this classical form of power yoga, taught with precision and heart.  Enjoy the ashtanga yoga system’s traditional sequences synchronized with breath in effort to enhance flexibility, stamina and strength, creating an energetic and detoxifying practice.

ashtanga vinyasa yoga flow (75 minutes)                                                                                               
Play and flow in this dynamic and deeply physical practice designed to reveal the full power of yoga. In the classical Ashtanga system, yoga poses are linked together through purposeful movement and the joining of breath, called vinyasa. The element of vinyasa gives this great strength building class the balance of smoothness, flexibility and flow. Love and movements for students of all levels.

chakra yoga flow

A class dedicated to exploring our 7 major bio-energetic centres called the chakras through the dynamic practice of vinyasa yoga. If you can imagine 7 wheels, spinning along the meridians of the spine from the crown of the head all the way down to just below the sacrum, creating energy excessively, deficiently, or in balance. discover each chakra’s qualities and associations through yoga postures, breath, music and meditation. Awaken to the interiors of you and dive in to the deepest layers. Each week will focus on a single chakra or a combination of energy centres.

deep vinyasa HOT yoga flow (75 minutes)
Awaken the radiance as you flow through a practice that promotes strength, balance, and tone in the physical and mental realms.  Melt the body and mind in an 85 degree room to encourage a release of toxins and feel a restoration of spirit.  As the muscles warm and the thoughts quiet down, move into a deep release of tension, especially within those tighter areas like the hips and hamstrings. While discovering openings in the body, we will move to increase flexibility and agility. All levels welcome.

A lively flow to awaken the soul! Journey through postures at a steady pace and deepen your awareness of breath and movement with a focus on your body’s alignment in poses. Increase strength, flexibility and vibrancy. Watch your practice blossom!

dynamic vinyasa yoga & brunch flow (60 minutes)
A lively flow to awaken the soul and your appetite.  Journey through postures at a steady pace and deepen your awareness of breath and movement with a focus on your body’s alignment in poses. Increase strength, flexibility and vibrancy. Watch your practice blossom before your eyes and afterwards, feast on a delicious Sunday brunch, courtesy of Bagel World with your fellow yogis.

honey yoga flow
a certified kula yoga project NYC class taught by a kula certified teacher only. A delicious and stealthily challenging flow! A 75 minute serving of a sticky, sweaty flow, lathered by yin yoga, and a restorative asana topping. Kick A$$ and sweet, rolled into one!

express power yoga flow (45 minutes)
This 45 minute hearty flow will encompass all that is true to a vinyasa class with an extra bite of vigor.  Connect breath (pranayama) with movement and fluidly move from one pose to another, building strength and flexibility through a variety of powerful sequences. This vibrant and challenging flow will provide an element of cardio vascular endurance that rivals any indoor cycling ride, leaving you blissed out and balanced. 

freestyle yoga flow (70 minutes)Freestyle vinyasa emphasizes creativity and alignment. Classes are inventive and challenging sequences of sun salutations, standing & seated postures, back bending and inversions - guided by a steady breath to tone and calm the mind. For students with a regular yoga practice.

 

family yoga flow *ages 7 + (45 minutes)
Welcome the young and old, individuals or the whole family! Enjoy moving through traditional yoga postures in this cheerful, open and energetic class.  All who flow together, stay together. This is a class built to promote connection, wellness and open to anyone you call your family; parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, and caregivers too.

hard *core*  yoga flow (60 minutes)
All physical movements are initiated from the core, the centre, our nucleus. Experience and differentiate all abdominal muscle groups that help to support and move our whole body in addition to facilitating our breath. Enjoy a strength-building flow of yoga postures that are concentrated and derived from the core.  Learn how to move from a place of power and connection from the inside out. 

honey yoga flow (60 minutes) a certified kula yoga project NYC class taught by a kula certified teacher only. A deliciously therapeutic yoga flow! A one hour serving of a sticky, slow flow, lathered by some yin yoga postures, held for a juicy amount of time, coupled with a restorative asana topping. Relaxing & and sweet, rolled into one!

java jam yoga flow (60 minutes)
Prana fuelled and caffeine-free, this java jam will give you the boost you need to groove through your day! Awaken the senses with this one hour dynamic yoga flow.  Bask in the quietness of the morning as you move and jam through a series of postures that will energize and refresh your body, while soothing the mind. Java Jam is open to all levels where variations and modifications allow students to work at their own pace.

jivamukti yoga flow (75 minutes) An intermediate to advanced class fueled with soul-inspiring music. Enrich your practice with a balanced class that flows through standing postures, twists, forward & backward bending and inversions. An exploration of chanting & meditation will invoke a peaceful mind, while experienced adjustments will recharge your physical practice at every level.

karma yoga power flow (60 minutes)
Come as you are and give what you can. A karmically energetic power hour of yoga that will challenge your mind, your muscles and will enliven your spirit! Class is donation based (free or donate what you wish!)

rejuv & restore yoga flow (60 minutes)        
               
A unique hybrid of  fresh, flowing vinyasa sequences, and deep opening seated postures at the beginning of this class is sure to rejuvenate your spirit.  The last 1/2 of the practice allows you to release tension in the mind and body with deep relaxing restorative poses.  This juicy  fusion yoga class will leave you feeling completely rejuvenated & restored - and also ready to  crumble in to bed for a great nights sleep.
 

slow *core* vinyasa flow
Move to a slow tempo as you help stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body while learning that all movement comes from the core. Postures practiced at a gentler pace with attention to alignment and detail. Recommended for all levels especially those newer to yoga or working with special concerns or injuries.

yin yoga flow (75 or 90 minutes)
If you are ready to dive below the surface and seek to gain greater flexibility, the challenging practice of Yin Yoga will move you beyond the muscles, targeting the dense connective tissues, of the lower spine, hips, pelvis and hamstrings. The postures are held from 3-7 minutes resulting in a deep release of habitual holding patterns in the physical body. This practice will benefit everyone, especially those with active lives (cyclists, runners, Vinyasa/Ashtanga Yoga Practitioners).

yin~yang yoga flow (75 minutes)
Move into a delicious fusion flow of yoga styles that provide balance and strength.  The yang-style vinyasa aspect of the class will be both challenging and creative.  The heart will soar through the rhythmic intensity of breath matched with movement.  Prana will be further mobilized and range of motion restored through the long, static holds of yin yoga postures.  The result is a resilient body and a poised mind.

A 50/50 engaging blend of flexibility enhancing, strength building, and core-stabilizing movements that are captured by the essence of intelligent pilates exercises woven into an energizing yoga flow. Integrate weighted balls and other tools to increase body awareness, functional control and power as we develop more balance, stamina, and improve overall posture. Learn to breathe in ways that light up the way we move and the most importantly, the way we feel!



yoga sculpt

Maximize the strength building aspects of vinyasa, the dance of breath and movement, by introducing weight balls into various yoga postures. Utilizing 3 or 5 pound weight balls to further define, tone, and lengthen major muscles groups in the body, while continuing to mindfully incorporate breath into dynamic sequences. 



yoga 101 flow

Focus on the fundamentals of hatha yoga’s basic postures, breath techniques and alignment. This flow moves at a slower pace to allow time for student’s questions and a deeper understanding of this dynamic practice.  Ideal for beginners!
